"Forgetting is the Hardest Part" is a collaborative Project by Zach Coneybeer and Jarred Hackney that combines contemporary art and avant garde music that emphasizes creativity from the shared experience of a site specific place and time. Featuring John Freed as narrator, the project includes artwork by Coneybeer accompanied by Hackney's improvisational song entitled "Clues Full of Empty Leads". The viewer is presented with color, form and sound that is born from the act of a happening, an improvised and natural occurring event, that plays on the idea of memory. Much like a life event, the music and art progress and fades and becomes a memory to the viewer that can be replayed using video technology. Much like memories that are lost and found, "Forgetting is the Hardest Part" and "Clue sFull of Empty Leads", becomes an experience that may be relived by the viewer consecutively though the use of video.
